At BASIS, you get 7 classes a day and 1 chance to speak Chinese.

🧠 Thought is free… unless it’s in Mandarin.

BASIS: Fluent in English, silent in identity.

🤐 Students are encouraged to express themselves...

…but only in EIP Essay format, under 800 words, and never in Chinese.

At BA***, students don’t just go to school. They live in a place that feels more like a prison. Every minute of the day is tightly controlled, and there’s no room for fun or freedom. The rule is simple: speak only English. Students are given so much homework and so many tests that they forget what free time feels like. Clubs? We have a Homework Club. Feelings and creativity aren’t important here, only scores and silence. If you’re lucky, you’ll graduate… but even then, it feels more like escape than celebration.
